Feel the love

Despite what Rudy Giuliani thinks about community organizers, I am so very proud of MTB. He led his Rotary club’s coat drive this fall, and together they bought more than 130 brand new coats for kids. I went with several of the Rotarians to 3 different schools Wednesday afternoon to make the presentations. We were not allowed to present directly to the kids in order to protect their anonymity, which is understandable, but each school had student representatives from the KC Club (Kindness and Caring Club), and of course, the principles and other school leaders were there. It was great to see these Rotarians, who work so hard to make life better for everyone in our community, get some recognition, and it was a great way to spend the afternoon.

It's always feels better to give than to receive.
